JCC Scam Alert:

Californians report receiving scam text messages impersonating the Judicial Branch of California and directing them to fake payment websites. These messages are not legitimate, and the Judicial Branch does not send unsolicited texts. If you receive one, do not open any links or reply.

Court investigators handle conservatorship cases.  They explain legal rights and gather, review, and evaluate information about living arrangements, care plans, and other factors that affect the health and safety of incapacitated adults.  They prepare written reports and provide recommendations to the court.
